Manga+Press

Well, WordPress 2.8 is out. I really hate it when a new version comes up and I’m still dealing with finals, though :\ So that means that I haven’t really had a chance to see if Manga-Press 2.0 works with WordPress 2.8 or not yet. However, I do have plans to test it this weekend.
Speaking of Manga-Press, 2.0 beta has been out since the end of March, I just never got around to announcing it. In fact, I’m starting to think that Manga-Press 2.0 beta might just be the final version. I can’t think of anything else that can be done to it beyond bug fixes—of which I’ve only had one report and haven’t been able to duplicate the bug in question. I also think part of the problem might have been that the person was using the default WordPress Kubrik theme, which doesn’t work with Manga-Press. You have to use the theme that comes with Manga-Press, which leads me to an idea that I should probably follow through on. I should probably start offering custom Manga-Press/Wordpress themes for download. That is, when I can find the time to design them!
